The Swedish hydrogen technology company Hyrizeon AB and the Finnish renewable energy consulting company Etha Oy have entered into a strategic partnership to establish a joint venture, Hyrizeon Oy, targeting at the development of a 1 GW green hydrogen portfolio in Finland by 2027. The joint venture will be headquartered in Vaasa and is planned to commence operations in August 2025.
Etha has acted as Transaction Advisor for sell-side in a transaction between TOWII Renewables A/S and Puhuri Oy concerning the fully permitted Ketunperä and Kopsa III wind farms.
The wind farm project planned in the Takakangas-Pihlajaharju area in Parkano is progressing well, and energy production is scheduled to commence in the area by 2029. Etha Oy has been strongly involved in the project, cooperating actively with all the project stakeholders.

Etha has signed a cooperation agreement with Solaris Group, a Finnish start-up company working with project development in the renewable energy industry.
The aim of the development project NextGear is to build Etha Oy’s transaction advisory business as a key growth driver for 2024–2028. The project focuses on recruiting senior transaction expertise, building a dedicated team, and increasing market visibility. The goal is to achieve a leading market position in Finland and expand transaction services to Sweden and the Baltics.

The Sarvikangas wind farm project is progressing in Pieksämäki – the environmental impact assessment was completed in April. As the Project Development Consultant, Etha has been strongly involved in the project since the beginning.
