When decommissioning of a wind farm is the right option, we support owners throughout the end-of-life process, ensuring that dismantling, recycling, site restoration and materials’ value recovery are carried out with full regulatory compliance, transparent cost control, and seamless coordination between all stakeholders. Our role is to act as the client’s Owner’s Engineer, Project Manager and trusted Technical Advisor, leading the work from initial planning to final handover.
We begin by preparing comprehensive project and dismantling plans that outline the permitting process as well as land lease, municipal and technical requirements. We manage logistics, scheduling and specific site inspection, taking environmental aspects into account. Based on these plans, we carry out procurement management and manage the tendering process and contractor selection, ensuring a capable partner and clear agreements that protect our clients’ interest. Components are assessed for resale or recycling to maximize customer value.
Throughout the project, we maintain active communication with landowners, authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and smooth cooperation. Whether acting as the client’s Project Manager or providing targeted expert support as Technical Advisor, we ensure that decommissioning is carried out safely and with minimal environmental impacts, preparing the site for its next chapter.
