For the first time, both wind and solar farms are included in the map below!
The data is gathered from publicly available databases by Etha.
The map contains currently the following information:
- Existing wind turbines from the National Land Survey database (3/2023)
- High voltage over-head-lines (OHL) from the National Land Survey database (3/2023)
- Existing sub-stations from the National Land Survey database (3/2023)
- Municipality borders from the National Land Survey database (3/2023)
- Wind and solar farms in permitting phase gathered from the publicly available databases e.g. municipality web sites
- Wind speed estimates at 200 m altitude from Finnish Wind Atlas
- Network visions from Fingrid’s network vision for years 2035 and 2045. More information about the vision can be found here.
