As Project Manager in the Development Services team, you will oversee innovative projects in wind and solar power, battery energy storage systems, data centers, and hydrogen. In this role, you will lead project planning, manage project timelines and budgets, coordinate competitive bidding for subcontractors, and handle change management. You will also facilitate stakeholder communications and negotiations with authorities. The role includes providing consulting on permitting and technical requirements, preparing relevant studies and reports, and guiding clients through project development. Your leadership will drive projects toward successful completion and support the advancement of sustainable energy solutions.
Success in the role requires strong project development expertise in sustainable energy projects and knowledge of the Finnish permitting processes and procedures. You can be an experienced Project Coordinator looking to step into a Project Manager role, or an experienced Project Manager. The person we are looking for has a strong project execution approach as well as sales-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
You demonstrate the ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, along with a creative mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Previous experience working in consulting is considered an asset. To be successful in this position, a relevant degree is required. You may have a background, for instance, in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biology or other relevant field. Fluency in Finnish and English is essential, and Swedish language skills are considered an asset.
The position can be based at Etha’s offices in Oulu, Vaasa or Helsinki. The employment is permanent.
