As an Analyst in the Technical Engineering team Ilona is responsible for technical advisory covering, e.g. site assessments, layout optimization, environmental assessments and climate impact assessments.

Prior her time at Etha, Ilona has versatile experience in forest and chemical industry where she has worked with bioenergy and hydrogen processes. She is also experienced in the Finnish energy market, having acted as electricity purchaser and participated in the development of site level energy optimizing software which gives her wide perspective on energy strategies and optimization.

As a person, Ilona is hard-working and optimistic and is motivated by continuous learning in renewable energy. Ilona’s first language is Finnish, and she is also fluent in English.
