Staffan Asplund back as Managing Director

Staffan Asplund takes over the role as Managing Director, while Caroline Kullbäck continues to work as COO until the start of her maternity leave.

Two years ago, Caroline Kullbäck became the new Managing Director at Etha Wind. The company founder and previous Managing Director, Staffan Asplund, continued as Senior Advisor and Chairman of Board.

As of today (26 August) Staffan Asplund again takes over the role as Managing Director, while Caroline Kullbäck continues to work as COO until the start of her maternity leave in early October. Simultaneously, Dag Sandås takes over the role as Chairman of Board.

“It has been a true joy to have been part of this journey as Managing Director during the last two years. The world is moving fast, and we’ve seen many changes and lots of development, both within the company and in the market. One of the most notable changes is the addition of new business areas such as photovoltaic, energy storage and hydrogen. At Etha we’ve been constantly recruiting more experts to support our growth, and it looks like the recruitment will continue”, Kullbäck says.

“Etha has since it was founded in 2002 changed every 2-3 years, anyhow staying closely within the field of sustainable energy. The company has developed a lot under Caroline’s management, and I want to wish her the best of luck for her upcoming maternity leave. I’m looking forward to continuing the work by combining both new and old best practices and seeing what we can achieve in the near future”, Asplund says.
